a new dawn
It's 8am blue skies and almost time for Yoga practice. I swear I read the time as 8:00am on the website but Cyndi says the class has been rescheduled, it's now planned for 8:30am. OK, I can wait.
Washing dishes at The River's Edge starting 11:30am today. It's rewarding work, something theraputic to it like a feeling you get when a task is completed.
I'm not talking about the envelope.
My shorts are still soaked from the last Yoga practice -- we still don't have an active laundry tree in my house. Every piece of clean laundry gets that way only after being aired out for a couple days.
We have our laundry lines hanging up in the living room, but I don't really feel comfortable airing out my dirty laundry in everybody else's breathing space.
It feels like encroachment, my father used to get in trouble with the neighbors by encroaching his lawnmower on their 2" strip of grass - they insisted it was theirs, it looked like our property to me.
Apparently things change when you erect a fence between two properties. They say assessors are a crooked lot.
What a bunch of assholes!
How come this blog doesn't support yaml? It's really inconvenient using special characters for everything remotely special. At least this keyboard has >keys< for <that>...

I'm supposed to go pick up shabab's guitar later today, he wants me to keep it at all times with me until he's ready to have someone take it back to new york for him. That's what he said. It actually didn't seem like a strange request, I don't play guitar, so it might come in handy if I am at a party to have a guitar. I'll have to inquire more later about the history of this traveling guitar, I wonder who will have it next, after I am removed from my charge?

We're not playing horse or horses... we're playing cards. Anybody want to play scrabble? How come there's no Scrabulous client for the Sidekick? I bet the REST service API for that app's communication protocol is documented somewhere we could read it!
At least I hope it's RESTful...
