Sidekick Gekko/2008: $150 w/ 2 year contract
On the current issue of NYLON magazine, the last page shows some products they recommend, among one of them the un-released Sidekick. They list the price at $150 w/ a 2-year contract. I'm not saying it's the official price, but I'm guessing they are in the ballpark since they must have had some contact with T-Mobile. Click to see the pics. They are a bit blurry since I don't own a scanner.

That looks almost exactly like the ID i think its cazy they keep put out a new phone evry other month. Whats to special about this one?

just a better camera from what i hear 2.0 mega pix and no flash think there are some other features not note worthy

It didn't even say that it was the gecco that was in the picture. I would have thought that it was a black-edition of the id.

if you seen the screen shots of the new gecco its a id in a different wrapper and some upgrades

so if its $150 with two year contract,then maybe $300 by itself ?

I dnt knw I think it good in a whole lot better then the id it has video a better cam and other cool feat. And as for the lx the s/k08 doesn't have to wait for the ota it allready comes equiped with it so no need for the long wait, and from what I heard some of you lx people who have had the update its making your sk run slower or lagging but that's just my input.
