T-Mobile has reported personal data loss for Sidekick users affected by the service outages and appears to have halted further sale of the devices for the time being.

but anyway, my phone has worked fine all day
my stepdad and i have the same phone, on a family plan
and his didnt work...its weird

yeah, I called 611. Took 6 tries but I finally got through. They gave me a $10 credit. I suggest everyone call and get the credit.

all of that is in reponse to the October Sidekick outage. It has nothing to do with this phone & text outage.

We don't. This is just an example of people being greedy & cheap. Its only been a few hours that this has been going on its not like its going on for a month like the data outage.
