ANOTHER outage? or is it just me?

My service is spotty (off and on)...It goes to the X whenever I am using it for more than a minute, then it gets the G back as soon as I plug it into the charger...weird.

did they really? I havent heard anything about sidekicks..or even seen one since I got my g1. So sorry for the post i guess.

About 15 minutes ago I noticed my phone was cycling through 3G, to X, to black phone, to 3G, etc. I kinda watched it do this for a bit, then it went to the two dot dance, where it's remained for about 10 minutes now. Sometimes it'll go to the white phone for a sec & goes back to two dance. A friend who still uses a Sidekick 3 hasn't had her G for a couple of days now. Anyone know what's up? Is it happening to anyone else?

I didn't notice anything. If you're going to black phone, it's probably a carrier issue.

Thanks. It came back after about 20 minutes after I posted. No biggie, but it was just weird watching my phone cycle through the different statuses like that.

Yea I went through this again and the catalog hasn't came back either...

I use Gmail and forward to my sidekick. Today I can send emails but I am not receiving any.

Plan to call 611 if the problem still exists tomorrow.

I still can't get my sk to ring for text alerts. =( ...At one point during this whole outage nonsense, I had text alerts, now they appear to have vanished again, and its really inconvenient.

edit: I also don't receive any alert for picture messages, no ring, or the little "picture message" bubble at the top of the screen, nor a flashing blue sleep light. I have pic messages that had been sitting on my phone for a while before I even noticed they were there. =(
