Yep, it has to be soemthing that sends out power over USB. The consoles use their USB ports to charge accessories.

Yea pretty cool how you can use usb to charge it, the good thing with the xbox is you can just listen to all the music on your computer while playing a game so you dont really need to worry about the sidekick, but usually I would use my surround sound if I wanted to listen to the sidekick or ipod

the wii is the best way to do it because it will work even if it's turned off (if you're using WiiConnect24)

Pretty much anything that has power can charge a device if it has the right input for usb. but the ac plug that comes with the sidekick has just the right amount of power to charge it fast enough.

I have a Wii but what does the Wii having to be connected to the net have to do with charging the Sidekick? My Wii is in standby mode (orange light) when it's off the light is red, but that's interesting to know but still..what does WiiConnect24 have to do with charging the Sidekick? Other than that when I'm really tired and my Sidekick's charger cord falls off my bed somehow I just get out my USB cord and charge it from my laptop or desktop which ever computer is on lol
