Default It's Monday, where is T-Mobile?

Wasn't T-Mobile going to give an explination or some type of announcement today? As far as I know I haven't heard anything, waiting til the time is right? I would think this is a major priority.

T-Mobile has not posted their latest update yet. When they do, it'll be at http://www.tmobile.com/sidekick

We'll copy it here as well.

Their last update was made 12:35pm pacific, 3:35pm eastern. So depending when they post it, it could be later in the day for east coast users.

I'm anxious to hear what they're about to say as well, in addition to whatever this "additional compensation" is going to be.

I keep worrying it's going to end up like that episode of "The Office" where Michael tries to prevent people from rioting about losing their health care by promising a "Big Surprise" at the end of the workday, and in the end... nothing.

Nothing from T-mobile about data recovery, but here's a nice tidbit from appletech for those of us that haven't lost our contact info yet:

You can power the phone off using the Power Off menu option from the home screen.

It is important to note that the sync services starting does not mean that your lost contacts or other data will return. The data recovery efforts continue, but we do want those who still have data on their phones as well as those who have begun to input their contacts once more to begin syncing those contacts to the server.

what if we power up and connect with our old device that has some lost content? Will it wipe it as in server>handheld or can it go handheld>server?

I spoke with them today and cited that verbiage and they said there is no other compensation at this time.

Asking.

It looks like it might work now as sync is set for device>server sync so it'll pull in existing data first.

Heh, am I the only one that keeps refreshing this page every 5 minutes to see if there's any 'news'?

Ah well, it's only 2pm Pacific Time, guess I'll give them until 6pm Pacific time before my blood pressure starts rising.
