SO THE BATTERY ON MY LX(07) IS STARTING TO DIE QUICK NOW-A-DAYS... I HAVE A FEW MONTHS LEFT WITH MY KICK & TMOBILE, A BRAND NEW BATTERY WOULD COST ABOUT $40... IS IT WORTH THE PURCHASE??

If you don't plan on upgrading to the LX'09 then yes I would say a new battery is worth the purchase.

I actually got a battery off Ebay, works fine. Much cheaper.

40 bucks, get the batt. If you upgrade you'll have a solid phone to fall back on.

the sk09 honestly kill's your battery faster than any other sidekick, due to the 3G status. plus with all the applications running, and with microsoft bing. yea your battery dies quick.

Sidekick O9 of course kills your battery more due to 3G services.
