  • Tyler MacNiven famously received his Danger-powered device from the trunk of an elephant while he raced around the world in The Amazing Race. His team took first place, and he continues to explore the world. Before his racing days he warmed up with a walk across Japan.

Did you first hear of the Sidekick on The Amazing Race?

    Yes.

How does it impact your day-to-day life?

I am able to call anywhere on the planet with my Sidekick. I feel more plugged into the world. Having the Sidekick in my pocket makes me feel like I can sense vibrations from people walking on the streets in Tokyo, dancing in Brazil, running in Africa, and doing Tai-Chi in China.

What feature do you find yourself using the most?

I use the telephone feature the most.

    What is your favorite game?

My favorite game is calling hotels in dubai and asking if my dry cleaning's ready.

What is your funniest/most surreal/favorite Sidekick moment?

My funniest Sidekick moment was when I bumped into Paris Hilton at the King Kong premiere in Los Angeles and we both dropped our Sidekicks.
